Lunch is Kuromon Ichiba Market, where the city buys its fish and eats it at the counter. The afternoon takes in Namba Yasaka with its stage carved as a giant lion's head, Sumiyoshi Taisha and its steep arched bridge, and the open rooftop ring of the Umeda Sky Building. The day finishes in Dotonbori at dusk, when the neon along the canal comes on.

Pickup is at 9:00 from your hotel or any address in central Osaka, and drop-off is by around 7:00. Stops run thirty to ninety minutes with short drives between them, mostly ten to twenty five minutes. Osaka is flat and the traffic is manageable, so this is one of our easier days. Your English-speaking guide will move Dotonbori to whatever time the light is best.
